End of Semester

Oh boy, it has been a while since I have even had time to think!  I have officially 2 days left till the end of the semester so I can relax!  It has been so crazy with only a 12 week semester.  All of the teachers have to try and shove everything in and I have way less time to get all of my piano pieces ready and memorized.  Of course I'm not complaining! I love to start a week or two into September and get done right at the beginning of April : ) all of my other friends start in August and get done in May.  My advice to them is come to BYUI : ).  Anywho, last night I had Juries.  For all that don't know thats when I play for the piano professors here and they give me a grade and decide whether I am progressing enough to continue.  A little nerve racking to say the least.  I think I have mastered the art of being nervous and not letting it affect you.  It actually went very well and I am hoping to get a good grade.  I only have two more tests to take and I am home free (well at least for 5 months).  Then I will have all the time in the world to continue to post my life on here!

Yay for the end of the semester! I'm glad you felt good about your juries, and I'm sure you did great. We'll have to play a lot once you're done with school.

Holy moly, that sounds so nerve-recking! I couldn't do that, at least not with a musical instrument. I always do worse when somebody is watching me. Heck I can't even play guitar hero without getting nervous. I'll play a song perfectly, then Gary gets home & I fumble all over it. Glad it's you & not me. :)

Glad your juries went well. Good luck with the rest of your tests!

It's a good thing I'm not a musician, juries would kill me! I'm so glad to be married to a family with such talented people!

There's just nothing like the end of a semester...congrats!!!
